The highly-acclaimed, Bhawander actress Nandita Das is planning to take on directorial reins. Now graduating to new level, Das is all set to start shooting for her directorial debut in December. Nandita says that she has always desired to tell a story the way she wants.

This, she has not been able to achieve as an actor because an actor works under the guidance of the director. She is unwilling to speak about the subject of the film yet. However, Paresh Rawal has already been finalized to play a significant role in the film.

Nandita is presently finalizing the cast and crew of the movie. Meanwhile, she has also clarified that she has no intention of quitting acting. Anyway this shift is for the better.
