An incident on Sunday evening has rekindled the rumours of the alleged ‘cold war’ between the Bachchans and Shah Rukh Khan.It was a festive evening at Andheri Sports Complex where the annual Diwali mela was organized by Mumbai police.Expectedly, a host of celebrities from tinsel town had descended on the venue, some as guests and some as performers.

Amitabh Bachchan , Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai sat in the front row and enjoyed the performances on stage. They were apparently in happy mood.But around 10 pm at night, Shah Rukh Khan walked in with his Om Shanti Om gang – Deepika Padukone , Shreyas Talpade and Arjun Rampal .What was shocking to see was that as soon as SRK walked in, the three Bachchans stood up to leave.

Apparently, SRK spotted them and went to greet them. An eyewitness says Big B and SRK did shake hands and exchanged pleasantries but they did not engage in a talk. The Bachchans seemed in a hurry to leave the venue.“It looks highly coincidental that the Bachchans had to leave at the same time when SRK arrived.

Perhaps there is some truth to their much-written-about rivalry,” says a source.Meanwhile, the Bachchans have been invited by Sanjay Leela Bhansali to the lavish premiere of Saawariya on Wednesday. It remains to be seen if they also get the invite for the OSO premiere.
