Yet another star daughter is getting set to twinkle on the silver screen, if the Kollywood buzz is any guide. It is none other than Shruti Haasan , daughter of Tamil super star Kamal Haasan and Sarika .
The news is that Shruti has been signed up to act with Tamil hero Madhavan for a Tamil film. The as yet untitled movie will be directed by Marathi director, Nishikant Desai, who is currently working with Madhavan in a Tamil flick.
Incidentally, Nishikant won several awards for ‘Dombivli Fast’, which was produced by Madhavan.
Maddy is remaking the film in Tamil, and Shruti, who is a good singer, is said to have been impressed with the script. At present, Shruti is focusing on her music album, which is under production, according to Kollywood sources. Shruti has previously done playback singing for papa’s film ‘Chachi 420’ and has played a cameo in ‘Hey Ram’.
