Mumbai is abuzz with rumors that the newlyweds – Sanjay Dutt and Manyata Dutt – are already expecting their first child. Sanjay Dutt pleasantly shocked the media and his friends by marrying his long time companion Manyata in a low-key, Hindu-ritual wedding in Mumbai. Mumbai’s newspaper Mid-Day carried a report claiming that Mrs Dutt is in the family way.

The paper quotes sources as saying that the couple tied the knot hurriedly because they have another announcement to make soon. In fact, the report claims that Dutt and Manyata first got married last year but they kept their wedlock a secret. Now, they have decided to make their marriage public through a formal ceremony because Manyata is expecting Dutt’s baby, according to the paper. Sanju’s sudden marriage has taken many by surprise.

Even his sister Priya Dutt was unaware that Sanjay had tied the knot. She says she came to know about the marriage through media.
