It may be an unauthorized book, but Shilpa Shetty’s biography is selling like hot cakes in the UK. The biography which has now hit the Indian stands, as sources reveal, is almost an impersonal piece of work. Supposedly, the author, Julie Aspinall has never spoken to Shilpa Shetty and all the quotes that the book carries are taken from various magazines and television interviews.

This presses on the fact that the term 'biography' is misplaced as far as the book is concerned. It is clear as the writings have no mention of incidents or aspects of Shilpa's life, except for the hue and cry made on her past relationship with Akshay Kumar.

The book mainly concentrates on the happenings during and after 'Big Brother' and on Shilpa's iconic rise to worldwide fame followed by the transition from actress to diva. Whatever it be, the 'Diva', Shilpa surely needs to get inspired by this author and utilize her fame to the fullest by penning an 'autobiography' or getting a 'biography' written on her.
