Nandita Das will be bestowed the prestigious Ordre Des Arts Et Des Lettres at Paris for her contribution to cinema.

Not just that, she has also been given an open choice to choose any French personality for felicitation.

Nandita, who is on the cloud nine, informed that she was taken by surprise on receiving the letter last week. She further added that, to her, Paris is very similar to Kolkata in terms of both being the cultural nerve-centers of their respective countries.
