As Saif Ali Khan is shooting his first home production in London, Kareena Kapoor is playing a caring hostess to the film’s crew. The yet-untitled film by Imtiaz Ali has got Kareena immensely interested even though she doesn’t star in it.

On the sets, Kareena is making herself useful to the crew. Making sure that she doesn’t come in the way of work, the actress has been pro-active in playing a perfect hostess – organizing dinners, lunches, finalizing the menus and making sure that everyone is well looked after. And it is Saif who is most surprised to see this new side of hers.

“This is the first time I have had the opportunity to observe this hospitable, nurturing side of her personality,” Saif is quoted by a Mumbai tabloid. Saif had earlier stated that he strongly wishes Kareena was cast opposite him in the film. But Imtiaz Ali, who worked with Bebo in Jab We Met , insisted on having Deepika Padukone , and Saif had to bow to the director’s demand.
