Vivek Oberoi seemed to have all it takes to make it big in Bollywood. His career however, has taken a toll after being plagued with a series of unsuccessful films and many controversies.

The Taurani brothers of TIPS signed Vivek for their next movie, but they haven’t been able to get a single established actress to star opposite Vivek; let alone their plan of signing three! Rumor has it that Bipasha Basu turned down the offer for undisclosed reasons, and Katrina Kaif refused the movie because she wouldn’t want to pair up with Vivek after all that’s passed between him and Salman Khan.

Having run out of options, the producers are now rumored to be considering roping in newcomers. Strange co-incidence that in his last two releases – Shootout at Lokhandwala and Mission Istanbul – there was no heroine opposite Vivek. Or was it?
