BREA: Punjabi Dental Society conducted its quarterly meeting and conference in Embassy suite, Brea. Over 500 dentists from all over the state attended this event. Dr Harinder S.Sandhu was the guest speaker. Dr Sandhu is a Professor and Director of Dentistry Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, The University of Western Ontario London, Canada. Dr. Sandhu received his initial dental education from Govt. Dental College and Hospital, Amritsar.

He was a recipient of prestigious doctoral and post-doctoral fellowship of the Medical Research of Canada. He was awarded the Ontario Ministry of Health Career Scientist Award in 1985. He shared his knowledge and experience with the General Dentist. Dr Sandhu spoke on latest developments in the field of periodontal dentistry and its applications in the clinical setting. He is an internationally known speaker.Punjabi Dental Society Chairman Dr DP Singh Nagra on behalf of the society endorsed the candidacy of Harry Sidhu for 33rd state senate district. Harry is an experienced, trusted leader.

He currently serves as Orange County Republican Party, Deputy Chairman, City of Anaheim and Republican Convention Delegate. Harry continues to be deeply involved in community and civic affairs as: City of Anaheim Audit Committee member; Director, Orange County Sanitation District; Board Member, Boys and Girls Clubs of Anaheim; Board Member, Anaheim ; Advisory Board Member, Anaheim Family YMCA; Charity Fundraiser and Sponsor of children's sports; Anaheim Youth Soccer coach; and supporter of the arts and arts education.
