MONT CLAIR: Paramahamsa Nithyananda will himself be present for the Grand Consecration of Vedic temple and inauguration of Nithyananda Vedic Sciences University by in Mont Clair from November 7 to 11. The event will witness 48 hours of continuous Vedic rituals; installation of a number of deities and inauguration of a Vedic Sciences University to raise awareness of the Vedic tradition.
The Vedic Temple in Mont Clair, CA will be one-of-a-kind institution in the USA where Vedic knowledge, Vedic rituals and Vedic lifestyle will all come together under one roof. This institution - the vision of Paramahamsa Nithyananda, a multidimensional Enlightened Master from India - will be the mainstay for all four pillars of Vedic tradition - yoga, meditation, a temple with the tallest deities in North America and a seat of higher learning for all dimensions of Vedic culture and tradition.
As part of the grand celebration, Paramahamsa Nithyananda will be delivering free public discourses on the Shiva Sutras - the essence of meditation - for a continuous 30 days starting November 10 to December 9 in the new Vedic temple.Paramahamsa Nithyananda talking about his vision said, "Indian community has invested billions of dollars across the United States in constructing temples. The center will house a yoga center, a meditation hall, a Vedic temple hosting over a 100 deities including the tallest Venkateshwara and Nataraja, and a University which would be a seat of higher learning for all dimensions of Vedic culture and tradition.The largest Vedic University of North America is a seat of higher learning with top notch Vedic scholars.
It will have a rich spiritual library carrying over 100,000 books and house 1,200 very rare and authentic artifacts of the Vedic era, including text written on palm leaves. Over 30 different subjects will be taught on all aspects of Vedic tradition like yoga, meditation, ayurveda, pooja (rituals of worship), crafts like rangoli, henna etc., with over 100 on line courses and an E-library. Extended universities will also open in Ohio and St. Louis.
