MONTCLAIR: Grand Consecration of Vedic Temple and inauguration of Nithyananda Vedic Sciences by Paramahamsa Nithyananda is slated to be held from November 9 to 11. The function would include 48 hours of continuous Vedic rituals and installation of the largest number of tallest deities. Inauguration of a Vedic Sciences University to raise awareness of the Vedic tradition will also take place.

The Vedic Temple in Mont Clair will be one-of-a-kind institution in the US where Vedic knowledge, rituals and lifestyle will come together under one roof. This institution is the vision of Paramahamsa Nithyananda, a multidimensional enlightened master from India. It will consist of all 4 pillars of Vedic tradition - yoga, meditation, a temple with the tallest deities in North America and a seat of higher learning for all dimensions of Vedic culture and tradition. The Vedic University will have a rich spiritual library carrying over 100,000 books and house 1,200 very rare and authentic artifacts of the Vedic era, besides text written on palm leaves. Thirty different subjects will be taught on all aspects of Vedic tradition like yoga, meditation, ayurveda, pooja (rituals of worship), crafts like rangoli, henna etc., with over 100 online courses and an e-library. Extended universities will also open in Ohio and St. Louis. Little Anandas, a weekend cultural school for children will be offered, where they can learn about the Vedic culture in a fun way through mythological stories, chanting of mantras, Indian music, dance, languages and experience the vibrant tradition by celebration of Indian festivals.
