Mirchandani elected AIS President

CHICAGO: American Institute of Sindhulogy (AIS) has elected Hiro Mirchandani as President at its annual meeting held recently here. Hiro is long time resident in the USA and held several official posts in the community organizations.

He was President of Sindhi Association Board. American Institute of Sindhulogy is a non- profit organization set up to promote awareness of Sindhu & Saraswati Civilzation.AIS recognized the services of its past President Narain Hingorani. He initiated the Library program and related activities since AIS's inauguration.

His news letters from 2001 are being posted on the web siteIt is evident from the number of daily hits on AIS web site, public in general and Sindhis in particular are appreciative of AIS efforts in its educational program. Dial Gidwani, AIS founding president said, "AIS has also received certain encouraging comments on the website.

Amongst these messages is the e-mail by Indrarani Bhatia on our Guest Book. What is however important is that we have individual feed-back and comments from each of our members."
