Seventh Patotsav at Norwalk Swaminarayan Mandir

NORWALK: Norwalk Swaminarayan Mandir (ISSO) held the 7th patostav celebrations December 14 to 16. Mahant Swami Uttampriydasji gave discourses on Satsangi Bhusahan which highlighted charitra of Swaminarayan Bhagvan and his doctrine for satsangi, haribhakti, sadhu sants. Param Pujya Koshalendraprasadji Acharya Maharajshri of Nar Narayan Dev gaddi of Ahmedabad and Sant Mandal presided over the celebrations. Over 800 attended the event.A health fair was organized for the community and free flu shots were offered to whoever wanted.

Over 100 persons took advantage of the various services provided by the Health Fair medical professionals.Saturday evening ISSO youth gave cultural - religious program to over 300 faithful in attendance. Over 25 youths from 7 to 24 years of age participated in this program.Large number of Satsangis took part in the divine Maha Puja early Sunday morning, followed by Abhishek of deities by Achayra Maharajshree, the head of the Sampraday.

Blessing to over 400 persons were give by His Holiness Maharajshree and visiting Sants.Maha Prasad was offered to everyone for three days at the temple. Temple trustees committee and President ISSO Natoo Patel expressed pleasure and satisfaction with the attendance and participation of the devotees.
