New Punjabi website launched in Chicago

CHICAGO: Prominent Punjabi community activists, businessmen, and representative of different Organizations gathered last week in Bensenville, a north side suburb of Chicago, to launch a worldwide Punjabi website www.Punjabilekhak.com.
The objective is to promote Punjabi Language, literature, culture and to provide platform to all the Punjabi writers around the world who can put their stories, songs, poetry, novels and any related scripts. It will be edited to ensure the quality of the language used and then be uploaded for the Punjabis worldwide to read it and get connected.This website will be managed by Gurmukh Singh Bhullar and co-managed by Jairam Singh Kahlon and Dr Harjinder Singh Khaira.
The technical host for this site is SadaPunjab.com, owned and operated by Jas Bajwa.In an impressive gathering at the premises of Allstates Transportation, a leading businessman Swaranjeet Singh Dhillon formally inaugurated this site.
Community leaders from Punjabi Heritage Organization, Punjabi Americans Organization and Punjab Sports Club, besides the editor of Punjab Times Amolak Singh Jammu, press photographer Mohinder Rakalla, Shaun Kapoor, Surinder Singh Bhatia, Indermohan Singh of Sikh TV & Happy Heer of Desi Junction Radio were present.
Dr Harjinder Singh Khaira emceed the event and introduced the key note speakers who praised the efforts initiated by Gurmukh Singh Bhullar and promised to help the site to promote Punjabi language, literature and culture worldwide.
