MINNEAPOLIS: About 100 students and their family members' attended the second annual Bharat Holi festival held in Minneapolis last week. Walking into the building, students could clearly feel the warm presence of Bharat board members while paying for their tickets as Bharat members had already had a round of playing Holi.

They were ready to spread the love to others that joined them in this joyous occasion. The goal of this event was to raise funds for the organization and have students leave with Holi colors on their faces, hair, shirts and pants.

A table with colors was set in the front of the room with a dance floor. Participants danced while playing Holi with each other. The crowd who was not so interested in playing with the color could sit on the sidelines while eating some good food and browsing through jewelry stall to find some nice deals on spring jewelry. Bharat's mission is to foster the history and culture of India along with making people aware of Indian culture.
