BUENA PARK: Gyani Joginder Singh Vedanti, Jathedar Sri Akal Takht Sahib is currently on a US tour. Taking time off from his busy schedule, Gyani Ji visited the Buena Park sangat Saturday May 4.

His PA S. Prithpal Singh Sandhu accompanied Vedanti. Also with Vedanti was Bibi Inderjeet Kaur, S. Keertan Singh Khalsa and Singh Sahib S. Satpal Singh Khalsa, Ambassador of the Sikh Dharm. In his address to the Sangat Vedanti spoke on religious and social matters.

He warned the sangat of the ills of alcohol and other intoxicants. He also urged the community to do all it takes to pass on the cultural and religious values to the children. Siropas were presented to Gyani Joginder Singh Vedanti, Gyani Prithpal Singh and Bibi Ji Inderjeet Kaur. S. Keertan Singh Khalsa thanked the visiting dignitaries.

The Jathedar also met privately with community members where they discussed contemporary religious and social issues.
