The annual event has become a major attraction for the Indian American community in the Valley. The event also affords an opportunity for our elected officials to meet our community in the Valley. A large number of attendees will gather in the evening for the cultural extravaganza, showcasing India's culture and heritage and hear the invited guests. Admission is free and there is ample parking. The Association has been planning the annual daylong function for past 9 years. Over 70 booths will offer a variety of Indian foods, merchandise and informational services.

There will also be entertainment in the form of classical and modern Indian dancing and music. A free Health Fair will be conducted till late in the evening. The invited guest list includes many prominent elected officials, several of whom, such as LA County Supervisor Mike Antonovich, Congressman Brad Sherman, and Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa have attended the annual celebration more than once.
