Bay Area BJP warmly welcomes Bandaru Dattreya

MILPITAS CA: Bandaru Dattatreya the president of Andhra Pradesh state unit of Bharatiya Janata Party visited Bay Area on July 12 in response to invitation from BJP of US. Chandru Bhamra Bay Area BJP President hosted in association with Telangana NRI Association Bandaru Dattatreya at Swagat Restaurant, Milpitas.

HSS people and prominent NRIs attended this event.Chandru Bambra President of BJP and also happens to be the President Federation of Indian Associations has planned a busy day for him. Vijay Chavva and Biksam of NRI TRS also helped Chandru Bambra in coordinating the event.First he addressed a public gathering of more than 500 people and spoke on NRIs role in empowering India. He emphasized NRIs concentrate their energies on fruitful means of empowering the nation to become a world champion in all sectors very soon.

He thanked NRIs for their contribution to the society back home, He praised NRIs and said with the NRIs contribution the life style has been changing very fast in India but he requested to check the need to reduce inequalities in the society. He also said BJP will play a key role in improving facilities for NRIs once they come to power at the center in 2009.To a question he answered that the BJP is committed for smaller state and they will help form Telangana after coming to power in Center.

He also clarified that NRIs are most welcome in politics and BJP will encourage them coming back to India and play a key role in political area, He said NRIs should play key role in helping BJP acquire power at the center to dethrone dishonest and highly corruptive congress headed by a foreign born.Later the gathering was addressed by T. Rajeswara Rao, official spokesperson of BJP state unit and Smt Jhansi Rani Vice President.

Chandru Bambra and Vijay Chavva thanked BJP leadership for honoring their request and visiting Bay Area and Vijay Chavva also requested on behalf TeNA to help in Telangana Formation.Later Dattatreya and team Visited Sunnyvale Hindu temple and met with Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh leaders and inquired about their activities in US. Pundits have performed special Puja for the visiting team.Kuchibotla Anand Founder Chairman of Silliconandhra in a separate meeting explained the activities of their organization and detailed about recent Guinness record of Kuchipudi Dance. Bandaru Dattatreya appreciated their programs.

Late in the evening, he met several OU alumni and entrepreneurs from Bay Area in Hotel Athidi followed by late night meeting of several Telangana NRIs at Vijay Chavva's residence.
