Tamil Sangam promoting their culture

ST. LOUIS: Tamil Sangam of Missouri was founded in 1993. Since then TSM has been growing steadily. The aim of the Sangam is to promote and preserve Tamil culture, involve younger generations into cultural activities, encourage local talents and introduce them into programs. As a part of promoting

Tamil culture, the Sangam has invited 'Sun TV Asatha Povathu Yaaru" fame Erode Mahesh and Tamil music expert Prof Mammathu to St Louis during their current US tour. Prof Mammathu is a scholar in Tamil Classical Music and is the founder of the Innisai Foundation, which is dedicated to research in Tamil classical music.

The Foundation collects and organizes information and objects related to Tamil classical music; conducts training and seminars; highlights the history and beauty of Tamil Classical music; develops the unique aspects of the Tamil classical music; help Tamil classical music scholars and help people to learn Tamil classical music.Erode Mahesh redefined 'stand-up' comedy in recent Tamil history.

He shot to fame with his amazing performance in the famous Vijay TV program "Kalaka Povathu Yaaru?" This multi dimensional performer can perform a stand-up comedy, can preside over a pattimandram or can deliver a hilarious lecture. He is sure to fire-up the crowd in St Louis. The grand summer event featuring both these artists will be held on August 3 at 4 pm at the Mahatma Gandhi center, St. Louis.
