Vietnamese American on CACF Board

 NEW YORK: The Coalition for Asian American Children and Families (CACF) - the nation's only pan-Asian children's advocacy organization- has announced the addition of Ann My Thai to its Board of Directors.Ann Thai is currently the Assistant Manager of the Joan Ganz Cooney Center at Sesame Workshop. Before joining the Center, Thai served as a consultant for Education for Development, Vietnam.

Thai received her bachelor's degree in Political Science at Yale University where she was named a Charles Kao Fellow and a Gordon Grand Senior Fellow for her study on the influence of business development in the region of local nonprofits.

Wayne Ho, CACF Executive Director said, "Her passion, commitment and experience with diverse Asian Pacific American communities will enable CACF to better advocate for children and families." Thai concurred, "I look forward to creating innovative and impactful ways for CACF to continue to create meaningful change in our communities."
