FREMONT: The FIA Kick Off party on the evening of Sunday, June 10 turned out to be a vivacious affair, full of laughter, great company, food and conversation. Hosted by FIA President, Dr Romesh Japra, the event saw the members of the FIA and other guests gather at his grand residence, 'Japra Mahal'.

Gracing the evening were Rajesh Verma, Vijaya Aasuri, Alka Bhatnagar, Sonia Sidhu, Vijay Thapar, Dr Bhandari, Dr Ram Saini, VK and Monica Chopra and a host a prominent Indians from the Bay Area. The highlight of the evening was acclaimed Master mind reader, Deepak Rao, an ESP specialist that Asia is currently raving about.

Amazingly adept at reading minds, placing Zodiac signs and even names, Rao quickly had the audiences' attention with his natural wit and charm. His key word through out the show was concentration. The mind has limitless power and energy, he said, and the common man uses only 5 percent to 15 percent of his mental capabilities.

There's a whole dimension of the mind that has to be further explored and nurtured. It's important to be open to the power of suggestion, to learn to be 'extremely sharp, observant and alert' in order to take one's mental faculties to new heights. And the series of small 'experiments' Rao held certainly brought home the fact that here is someone who has cultured his mental skills to the utmost. Rao was able to mentally read what digits that people were thinking of, as well as transmit those same numbers to his assistant. Rao is minutely observant of even the subtlest, faintest body language, so much so that he is able to reach positive conclusions just by looking into a person's eyes or holding their hand.

He had the audience visibly (and audibly) impressed with his telepathic skills. With a clientele of over 125 companies all over Asia, Deepak Rao is increasingly being consulted by bigwig corporates as to how to communicate better, organize better, how to influence people and come through with winning deals.Rao's 'Mind Show' at Dr Japra's residence was his first in USA and from the impression it made on the audience, it certainly won't be his last. the Corporate world is all abuzz about the abilities of Rao, because his techniques are helping them to be able to distinguish between genuine and bogus clients, to make great deal
