CHICAGO: The Asian American Coalition of Chicago (AAC) honored Indian Americans Harleen Kaur Saini, and Laxman Alreja at their 25th Annual Lunar New Year Celebration last week. Incidentally, the day happened to be India’s Republic Day.

CHICAGO: The newly elect members of Manav Seva Mandir, a socio religious organization of Indians here, took oath of office recently on the auspicious day of Makara Sankrat. The members of Board of Trustee and executive Committee were elected with thumping majority of members last month. Acharya Dr CL Shshatri administered the oath of office.

CHICAGO: A prominent Indian American tax consultant Sohan Joshi has struck a deal with a leading American tax consultant firm, Roni Deutch Tax Corporation, for providing state of the art services to the customers in Chicagoland. The first ever facility in Chicago at 6410 N. Fairfield was formally launched last week in the presence of eminent Indian Americans.
