Free group consultations with renowned naturopath

NEW YORK: Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan USA is organizing a free group consultation and informal talk With Dr. Neeraj, a well known Naturopath from India on October 13 between 4-7 pm, at the Bhavan's Romanti Auditorium in New York City.

Naturopathy, or naturopathic medicine, is a system of medicine based on the healing power of nature. Naturopathy is a holistic system, meaning that naturopathic doctors strive to find the cause of disease by understanding the patient as a totality of body, mind, and spirit.

There are two areas of focus in naturopathy: one is supporting the body's own healing abilities, and the other is empowering individuals to make lifestyle changes necessary for the best possible health. While Naturopathy Doctors treat both short bouts of illness and chronic conditions, their emphasis is on prevention of disease and patient education.

Naturopathy as a technique of treatment of human disease is based on the tendency of the body to maintain a balance and to heal itself. The purpose of naturopathic medicine is to further this process by using natural remedies Dr. Neeraj is a renowned Naturopathy practitioner and yoga teacher in India.

He has done impressive work in 'Mud Therapy' and 'Hydro Therapy (Jal Chikitsa)'. Author of many books and articles on Naturopathy Dr. Neeraj is an eminent social worker working towards the enlightenment of the society in general and glorifying the age old tradition of India.
