India-Poland to cooperate in the field of health

NEW DELHI: An agreement between India and Poland to facilitate cooperation in the field of health and medicine was approved by the government.

The agreement covers cooperation in areas of mother and child health, family planning, public health, nursing, and communicable diseases. Medical devices, medicinal products, hospital management and traditional medicine would also be covered.

"The Union Cabinet gave its approval for signing the agreement," Information and Broadcasting Minister P R Dasmunsi said.
