UK plans 'Fit towns' to tackle obesity
Sunday, 11.04.2007, 09:49pm (GMT-7)

LONDON: Britain is planning to tackle the growing obesity in the country by broadening its plans for eco towns and turning them into healthy or fit towns, a news report has said.

Convinced that the two great challenges facing UK - climate change and obesity - are linked, Britain's Health Secretary Alan Johnson believes it makes sense that the 10 eco towns being planned should now be built and designed to confront the obesity crisis.
