Santhigram launches Kerala Ayurvedic Spa in NJ

NEW JERSEY: After successful launch of the first Kerala Ayurvedic and Yoga Center in New York, within less than three months, Santhigram group of Companies announced launching of its second US Center at Holiday Inn, Edison in New Jersey on January 17.

This is the second center of the Company in the United States and was inaugurated by Sai Kumar, the renowned Malayalam Cine Actor. Upendra J Chivikula, Member of New Jersey General Assembly has presided over the function. Bindu Panicker, the renowned Malayalam Cine Actress, Dr Sudhanshu Prasad, Councilman of Edison, Alex Vilanilam Koshy, Global President, World Malayalee Council, Inc., K.O. Mathew, Managing Director, Olive Builders, Ram Cheerath, Emigration Attorney, Gulshan Chhabra, Director of Holiday Inn, Edison and Reji George, President Kerala Association of New Jersey were the Guests of Honor.

Sai Kumar, Upendra J Chivikula and all other honored guests who spoke at the occasion have appreciated the efforts of Santhigram in bringing Authentic Kerala specific ayurvedic therapies to United States and wished the Company to set up more and more Centers in various parts of US in the coming years and assured all their support for the endeavor.

Gopinathan Nair, Chairman & Managing Director of the Group, explained the hurdles he has undergone in bringing Authentic ayurveda to United States and introduced his team members for whom the US Government was kind enough to grant the work permits as ayurvedic Specialists for the first time in the history.

He has announced that the next Santhigram Ayurvedic Center will be launched in Chicago by the end of February 2008. Ayurveda and Yoga are the time tested ancient system of medicine which is now popular in most western cultures. It is a science that not only addresses to bodily infirmity but encourages social, spiritual, emotional and psychological well being.

The Kerala specific ayurvedic rejuvenation and "Panchakarma" Therapies have a unique history of evolution and offer many exceptional methods for total body rejuvenation. Panchakarma is a complete therapeutic regime that identifies "doshas" or the imbalances in the body that arises due to pathological conditions and detoxifies the body with therapeutic massage using specific herbal oils, strict dietary and life style changes.
