Move to contain rising health insurance cost
Sunday, 07.22.2007, 10:56pm (GMT-7)

India Post News Service

CHICAGO: Governor Rod Blagojevich was joined by health experts, medical professionals, and families struggling with the rising costs of health insurance at the UIC Outpatient Care Center to announce new rules his administration is filing to address urgent health insurance problems for the growing number of Illinois families without job-based health insurance.

Salim Nurridin, a member of the Adequate Healthcare Task Force, created by Gov. Blagojevich in 2004, spoke about how the Governor's proposed rules would help to monitor and contain rising premiums and deductibles for individuals who buy health insurance on the free market.
