AMA acts against trans fats, texting while driving

CHICAGO: The American Medical Association took a stand against two unhealthy habits - eating fat-filled foods and text-messaging while driving. At its semiannual policy meeting on November 10, the nation's largest physicians' group agreed to support any state and federal efforts to ban the use of artificial trans fats in US restaurants and bakeries.
