Email claims responsibility
Monday, 05.19.2008, 01:58am (GMT-7)

NEW DELHI: A mysterious email by an outfit known as "Indian Mujahideen" has claimed responsibility for the blasts in Jaipur.

The email, which was sent to various television channels, has given the frame number (129489) of the bicycle which was planted at Choti Chaupad near Kotwali in the Pink City.

The email id used was "guru_alhindi_jaipur@yahoo.Co.Uk", the sources said, noting that the account was created on the day itself using the UK domain of the Yahoo.

Traced to Ghaziabad

The e-mail sent was traced to a Ghaziabad cyber cafe whose owner Shyam Bir alias Madhukar Mishra, in Sahibabad town and his employee were taken for questioning by the Special Task Force (STF) of UP police.

Home Minister Shivraj Patil, who visited the scene of blasts along with Congress chief Sonia Gandhi, said India will fight terror at all costs and thwart the designs of terrorists to disturb peace and communal harmony in the country.
