Raj BJP president favors law on lines of POTA
Sunday, 08.03.2008, 11:05pm (GMT-7)

JAISALMER: An act like POTA should be introduced to combat terror, Rajasthan BJP president Om Prakash Mathur said.

"There should be a strong and effective law like POTA to deal with cases of serial bomb blasts," Mathur told reporters here.

Mathur, who was on party tour to border districts of Rajasthan, said the BJP was ready for the coming up assembly polls in the state, which was due later this year.

There would be party worker at every polling booth, about 42,000, he said.
