DHARAMSALA: US Presidential candidate Barack Obama has expressed his support for the Tibetan cause and said the "slow but continuing dialogue" with Chinese authorities will bring positive results.
In a letter to Tibetan spiritual leader the Dalai Lama, Obama regretted that travel schedules will prevent him from a meeting with the Nobel laureate.
"I regret our respective travel schedules will prevent us from meeting during your visit to the US this month, I wanted to take the opportunity to reassure you of my highest respect and support for you, your mission and your people at this critical time," Obama said.
