Haj pilgrims could change their residential category
Sunday, 08.31.2008, 11:09pm (GMT-7)

JAIPUR: The Rajasthan Haj pilgrims visiting UAE for their pilgrimage could now change the category of their residential accommodation by paying a certain amount.

The Haj Committee of India has apprised the pilgrims who had applied residential accommodation in Azizia and White category could be changed by depositing the money till September 30, 2008.

The Committee has informed the Rajasthan Haj pilgrims about the decision after UAE government's decision to initiate the building demolition drive in and around Haram Sharif used to provide shelters to Haj pilgrims visiting United Arab Emirates for pilgrimage.

The information regarding the change of category should consist of pay-in-slip number, residential category, cover head name, and name of Haj pilgrim.
