Celebrated artists for music festival

BRIDGEWATER, NJ: On Saturday, April 26 and Sunday 27, the stage of the community hall of Sri Venkateswara Temple, 780 Old Farm Road in Bridgewater, New Jersey, will be the resplendent scene of melodious music performances by India's most celebrated musicians of international repute, Sangeetha Vidwan T. M. Krishna and musical maestro Aruna Sairam who are among the most sought after artistes in the carnatic arena.

The two-day event is hosted by Indo American Cultural & Religious Foundation, Inc. (IACRF INC.), a nonprofit association registered in New Jersey, in celebration of its 15th anniversary.

There will also be enchanting music performances by outstanding artistes who are locally based in New Jersey. They include Subha Srinivasan, Ashwin Bhogendra, Bhavani Prakash, Savitri Ramanand, Kalyani Ramani, and Rajeswari Satish.

Also on this occasion, the celebrated Carnatic music teacher, Sangeetha Vidwan Padma Srinivasan will be felicitated for her outstanding service to carnatic music and for teaching excellence.

The event is a tribute to the glory of carnatic music and carnatic musicians all the world over including the many students and teachers based in the East Coast of America.
