RIVERSIDE: The Riverside International Film Festival is presenting the audience with a spicy array of Indian Films. Michael York is the recipient of RIFF 2008 - Life Time Achievement Award. He will be at the 'Opening Gala', on April 11, at 6.00pm to be held at the Plaza Courtyard, next to El Torito.

The 'Closing Night' chief guest is 'Ashvini Bhave', producer and lead actress of the film 'Kadachit' that will be shown as the closing night film on April 20 at 2.30 pm. Indian films to be shown at the festival are: Taare Zameen Par by Aamir Khan which is a beautifully done film about the delicate and sensitive subject of autism.

Chak De! Vanaja by Rajnesh Domalpalli - story of a young girl from rags-to-riches.

Jhoda Akbar by Ashutosh Gowariker - Set in the sixteenth century, this epic romance begins as a marriage of alliance between two cultures and religions, for political gain; but ends up being a journey of true love.
