Lufthansa hosts premiere of Tashan
Sunday, 04.13.2008, 11:40pm (GMT-7)

NEW YORK: This year Lufthansa is giving back to the Indian community by offering everybody an opportunity to attend the US premiere of the latest Bollywood hit, Tashan, for free - on April 25 in select theatres nationwide.

To register for free movie passes for one and a guest, no purchase is necessary - just register online at Lufthansa MovieNight.com and check the availability in your city. In addition to the free movie passes, Lufthansa is also raffling away a pair of free round-trip economy class tickets at each screening.

Says Dirk Janzen, Lufthansa's Director of Leisure & Online Sales, USA: "We know that Bollywood movies represent a very important part of Indian culture and we wanted to offer this gift to all South Asians living in the US to show our appreciation for their support and loyalty.

For over 50 years we have been a part of the Indian community in the US and abroad, and we value this relationship very much". Every year, Lufthansa continues to expand its services to the Indian community.

Lufthansa offers flights from 18 airports in the US to six destinations all around India: Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Chennai and Bangalore.

The airline announced last month that it will boost the weekly connections to Mumbai and Kolkata from its home airports in Munich and Frankfurt, to offer a total of 50 weekly flights to India - a number unrivaled by any competitors!

Lufthansa's unparalleled offering includes exclusive low fares via WeFlyHome.com/India and via its network of travel agents, as well as the unsurpassed level of service on-board: authentic Indian cuisine, Hindi-speaking flight attendants on select flights, an entertainment system that features the latest Bollywood films and a special selection of Indian music, and much more.
