LOS ANGELES: A colorful fashion Show will be held at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel May 18 to launch the 20th Annual Miss Asia USA. Talking to India Post Virgelia Villegas, President of Virgelia Productions, Inc., could not conceal her excitement.
"A fabulous fashion show featuring over 30 final delegates for 2008 will kick-off our 20th year of uniting the Asian communities through a celebration of the culture, beauty, elegance and talent of young Asian women. "Get an up-close look at this year's delegates as they make their first official public appearance.
They are all very excited to be modeling cutting-edge fashion designs from the collections of several famous fashion houses, including Sherri Hill, Scala, American Apparel, and Malibu Girl Swimwear. The lovely Neha Goradia will represent India whilst the beautiful island nation of Sri Lanka will be represented by Sinhalese beauty Manuri Ranasinghe. Both ladies are all set to give the girls representing other Asian countries a good run for their money. For the fifth consecutive year, Miss Asia USA scoring tabulation is officially done by KPMG, one of the world's largest and prestigious accounting firms. The Miss Asia USA 2008 Fashion Show will be held 1pm onwards May 18 in the Emerald Room at the historic Millennium Biltmore Hotel.
The Millennium Biltmore Hotel is located in the heart of downtown Los Angeles at 550 South Grand Avenue, Los Angeles, California. Tickets to the Miss Asia USA 2008 Fashion Show are $50 and the proceeds will benefit Padres Contra Cancer. Tickets will be available at the door. Miss Asia USA is scheduled June 21 at the Alex Theater in Glendale.
