NEW DELHI: High drama was witnessed in the Supreme Court during the hearing on the multi-crore provident fund scam in Uttar Pradesh when Chief Justice K G appeared to drop hints that he may recluse from the case after a senior counsel challenged a decision of his.

An apparently agitated Balakrishnan told the counsel Shanti Bhushan that he had taken some decision on the administrative side and if he has to recuse(withdraw) then an amended prayer has to be filed.

The CJI shot back saying that he had taken the decision on the administrative side.
