Indian Model to play the lead in American sitcom

LOS ANGELES: Very soon Angeleno's will see a sitcom with an Indian girl amongst the leading characters. Titled ' The Dealership ' this sitcom is expected to begin filming around October this year. Aasha Gowda will play the central character and the rest of the cast is yet to be finalized.

The sitcom has been written by a leading Hollywood write and will also be directed by a prominent Hollywood director. The final details are yet to be finalized.

The story revolves around comical situations at a car dealership. The sitcom is expected to hit the TV screen early 2009 on one of the main LA local channels.
