Grand Indian Wedding on mainstream TV

METUCHEN, NJ: The We Network, otherwise known as the Women's Entertainment Network has agreed to air the first ever Indian Wedding on national American television with over 6 million viewers.

"Platinum Weddings" a show that normally airs on weeknights on the network has over 6 million viewers and is one of the first cable networks, to introduce the concept of a Grand South Asian wedding to it's regular audience - mainstream America. According to the WeTV's website about their show Platinum Weddings: "No wish is too extravagant for these blushing brides.

From hand-printed invitations to engraved party favors, to custom gowns by couture designers, Platinum Weddings brings you the breathtaking design and irresistible romance of these over the top weddings." Working with Rose Events, llc - America's Premier Event Consulting Firm, the We network is very excited to cover the full week's long events of a $ 1.25 Million Dollar - Grand South Asian Wedding.

The show is scheduled to air on Sunday, August 12 at 10 pm and will focus on the unique Indian wedding traditions of a Gujarati (bride) and Rajasthani (groom), their love story, the elite vendors that have been chosen, various costs associated with the event, the extravagant details of the 15 events scheduled, and of course the highlight along with the bride and groom will be the Event Planners and Wedding Coordinators, Ruchir Mewawala and Vaishali Sawant of Rose Events, llc - whose 6 year young company have been working diligently to plan and execute flawlessly and hitch free, this truly Platinum Wedding.

We network has bumped the show, originally scheduled to air in November to a earlier timeslot of August, due to the amazing footage captured by the production team. Over 650,000 homes across America will be watching this once in a lifetime event, on the release date.

The show will air multiple times thru the season, generating millions of viewers. We network has also preliminary agreed to move the show upon its release to a morning (8:00 AM) timeslot to position it directly in line to compete for the Emmy Awards.
