NEW YORK: Market Samachar LLC, launched June 28, the first inaugural issue of its new trade magazine with an expansive opening ceremony in Manhattan. The magazine, one of the first publications of its kind in North America, focuses specifically on the North American and the global South Asian Marketplace.

"Market Samachar takes its birth, today, to satiate the urgent need for pertinent market information and analysis of the rapidly growing and expanding South Asian marketplace" - said the founding editor and publisher Bharat K Joshi, addressing the guests at the launch ceremony. "The South Asian Diaspora has increased at an astonishing rate in the past decade; never before in history have there been so much interaction, so much trade, and so many new opportunities in the South Asian marketplace.

Market Samachar intends to capture the essence and energy of this culture, and this new marketplace- and intends, first and foremost, to be the source of information for a businessman interested in this great market," Joshi added. "With Market Samachar our goal is simply this - we wish it to be present on the table of every person involved in, interested in, or curious about the South Asian marketplace.

Whether a person is a vendor looking to expand, a manufacturer looking for distributors, a retailer looking for the latest hot products; or a Jeweler, or any businessman looking for new markets and new opportunities -Market Samachar must be there as their first and preferred source of important analysis and information" stated an enthusiastic Joshi. Many distinguished and eminent members of the South Asian community including Deputy Consul General Dr. Gondane, Kingfisher Airline Manager Andy Bhatia, G L Soni and Neil Soni of House of spices, were present at the launch event.
