Railways launch Buddhist circuit tour
Sunday, 03.30.2008, 10:37pm (GMT-7)

NEW DELHI: India, the land of the Buddha, is one of the most important destinations for Buddhist devotees from all over the world. Places like Bodh Gaya, Sarnath, Kushinagar, Saravasti need no introduction to Buddhist followers.

Considering a long felt need of a comprehensive tour package, Indian Railway & Catering Corporation Ltd. (IRCTC) has launched "Mahaparinirvan Express", a special Air-Conditioned train starting from Delhi covering Bodhgaya-Rajgir-Nalanda-Varanasi-Sarnath-Gorakhpur-Kushinagar-Lumbini-Saravasti and Agra (Taj Mahal) on wayback to Delhi.
