The meetings focused on IT, BPO, infrastructure, real estate, investment banking and pharmaceuticals. The delegation was given the opportunity to dialogue with senior executives from WNS Global Services, Goldman Sachs, Jones Lang LaSalle, DHFL, Wockhardt, Almondz Group, DSP Merrill Lynch among others. Each meeting provided participants with an insightful overview covering key trends, barriers, and business opportunities found within a given industry.
“Our spring 2008 delegation was very successful as USINPAC continues to provide Indian-Americans with key business and political interactions in India at the highest levels,” says Dr. Surabhi Garg, Vice President for Fundraising and Operations of USINPAC. “As interest in India has risen to accommodate this, we have increased the number of cutting edge delegations such as this we organize to India in the course of a year. We will be following this delegation up with another in June that will travel to Bangalore with a focus on the IT, BPO and pharmaceutical industries.”
