Dada JP Vaswani to visit Chicago
CHICAGO: Dada J. P. Vaswani, head of Sadhu Vaswani Mission, Pune, India will be in Chicago with his presence at a "One Day Sadhana Camp" on April 19 at the Ramada Hotel and Suites in Glendale Heights, Illinois.
The camp is an all day retreat with morning and evening inspirational sessions with Dadaji. All those attending the camp will get an opportunity to ask Dadaji their innermost burning questions and get comfort in his answers that only he can provide. The camp is replete with a yoga session with the well known yoga teacher Anu Malhotra from Naperville, and bhajans led by renowned singer from Libertyville, Pramila Bhatia. She has been trained under the guidance of distinguished singer Purshottam Das Jalota.
Interactive small group discussions and presentations will give all attendees a chance to meet and greet fellow campers and showcase their thespian skills. Lunch, tea, coffee, and dinner will be provided.
The Sadhu Vaswani Mission was started as the "Mira Movement in Education" in 1933 in Hyderabad, Sind and restarted after the tragic Partition as "Brotherhood Association" in 1950 in Pune, India by Sadhu T. L. Vaswani and his associates. The objectives of this mission are to spread the message of brotherhood, unity and harmony; to promote cultural and spiritual development by starting St. Mira's Educational institutions and several hospitals, concentrating on character and social service, to serve the poor and the sick.
The local chapter - Sadhu Vaswani Center of Chicago- meets first and third Sunday of every month at Hari Om Mandir in Medinah at 4:00 pm. The satsang is followed by dinner.
Dadaji will be at the Chinmaya Mission Yamunotri located at 30877 N. Faifield Road in Grayslake on Saturday, April 18 at 5:45 pm. A brief session in English will be followed by an inspirational session in Sindhi. Admission is free.
