NEW DELHI: On the occasion of Children’s Day, 4000 kids from 140 schools of Delhi and 1,000 underprivileged children participated in a massive Kids’ Marathon to build awareness on Right to Education.
The ‘Réal Run for Children’ – organized under the aegis of one of India’s largest non-profit organization Prayas and sponsored by RÉAL, India’s leading Fruit juice brand – culminated with the participants preparing a massive wall of handprints as a petition to promote Right to Education. The children also signed 5,000 postcards addressed to the President of India demanding Right to Education for underprivileged children, thereby setting a new Limca Book Record.
