NOIDA, Uttar Pradesh: A land measuring 6,000 sq m and valued at approximately Rs 24 crore was reclaimed by the Noida Authority Thursday, as it continued with its anti-encroachment drive in the city, officials said.
The land falls in Chhijarsi area, under Work Circle 4 of the authority, and the construction that had come up there were razed down on orders of Noida CEO Ritu Maheshwari, they said.
“The land was encroached by Satyaprakash, Devprakash, Sonu Sharma and Jitendra Sharma. The encroachment was cleared by the authority with the help of police and the land reclaimed,” the Noida Authority said.
