CHICAGO: After serving the community for over two decades, Metropolitan Asian Family Service (MAFS) has added yet another feather to its cap by opening Metropolitan Family Clinic at its Chicago location in 2012.
The main aim of this clinic is to serve non-insured and insured people of all ages. Metropolitan Family Clinic was opened earlier in 2010 in its Naperville location.
“We put our effort in improving patients care through our professionalism and continued care,” said, Dr Madhu Gopal, Family Practice Board Certified MD.
“We provide walk-in and open-access scheduling for appointments to be made within 24 hours which can help Emergency room visits and or hospital admission. Our goal is to provide integrated health care system with best possible result for the patients immediately” said, Santosh Kumar, Executive Director MAFS.
Metropolitan Family Clinic is enrolled with most major medical insurance carriers, Workman’s Compensation and Medicaid & Medicare.
MFC is conducting various health screenings and health education seminars in Chicago, Niles, Schaumburg, Arlington Heights, Hoffman Estates and the Village of Palatine. It has slated its first Annual Health Fair on Saturday, August 25 from 9.am to 12.pm. The fair will be offering services such as bone density screening, diabetes screening, hypertension screening and bariatric/ obesity screening.
