FOG India Day 2025 Cultural Celebrations huge success with several thousands attended

FOG/FIA India Day Cultural Celebrations with Dance competitions and performances was a huge success with 1200 kids/adults participating and several thousands of people attending the event and it was hosted and executed by FOG/FIA Cultural Chair/Actress Jo Sharma (Jyotsna) under the leadership of Dr. Japra (Founder of FOG) with 200+ dance teams on FOG India Day event on Saturday Aug 16th & 17th. Dr. Romesh Japra, founder of FOG, President Rajesh Verma and actress/chair cultural Jo Sharma appreciated the participants/ parents/audience for attending the event and distributed trophies to all dance competition winners for each category.

FOG India day cultural segment is filled with Dance competitions of multiple age groups with 1200+ kids/adults competing with dances blending Indian dance styles with Bollywood and Classical. Unique blends of styles include classical mix hip-hop, folk with Bollywood and other popular Bollywood Independence day theme dances.

Jo Sharma Chair Cultural along with her team Cultural Directors- Shubhada & Ramya, Co-directors- Hemangini & Mayura, Leads- Harsha, Jyothi, Shabina and volunteers Anu, Mandar, Sneha, Swathi, Jeeva, Srividya, Jyothi and 20 more helped by volunteering on Saturday & Sunday and did an outstanding job managing backstage for smooth execution of the cultural segment. There were several judges for all segments both days. All dance teams are very happy and getting great feedback with trophies and certificates. Large music groups also participated.

Special attraction of the cultural was the show stopper performances by Macha Swag Dance team who got 100 dancers and 90 dancers from BDC Dance team by Sneha and Saree Desi Drapes Fashion Walk in Indian Traditional Attires incorporated with fashion show arranged by Vidya, Jo Sharma, Pooja and few more. It was a spectacle and treat to the eyes. There was a huge crowd attending the event.

FOG India DayThousands of parents/friends/family attended the event to watch their kids compete and have fun. It was a grand success with all teams participating and winning.

On the 2nd day of the parade event and performances, Bollywood Actress Bhagyasree was the Celebrity Guest of Honor for Parade and celebrity dance performance was done by FOG Dance Dil Se team after parade walk on stage with 20 dancers with hit songs of Bhagyasree from her hit movie Maine Pyaar Kiya and teenagers of Swathi team from Lathrop took part of the dance.

Sunday Evening Showstopper Dance performance in ICC Milpitas was led by Shubhada and performed by Shubhada, Hemangini, Anu, Harsha and Pramila. This was done during the Americans4Hindus fund raising Banquet event along with other performances and fund raising activities.
