The extravaganza FOG India day parade held on a Sunday full of patriotism and pride, led by Grand marshal Bhagyasree (Bollywood actress) with FOG Founder Dr. Romesh Japra, President Rajesh Verma and Actress Jo Sharma/FOG Chair Cultural/FOG Telugu Chairperson was sitting on an open car as delegate along with Raj Salwan Mayor of Fremont and Chandru Bhambhra.

Jo Sharma helped with FOG Telugu float and FOG Goa float.

FOG Telugu float won the “first time best big float” award (24 Ft truck) at FOG India Day Parade

FOG Telugu Chairperson Jo Sharma designed and conceptualized FOG Telugu float with 24 feet truck along with FOG Telugu Vice President Anu and her husband Sridhar Bojja and FOG Telugu Directors Jyothi, Srini Gotte, Raghu, Dr.Harsha, Priyanka M, Mangala, Priyanka G, Dimple, Sunita, Jaya decorated the float with Hindu Gods festivals of South India and Telugu states, with all families ladies and teenagers wearing traditional pattu sarees and half sarees dancing along with men and kids walking with the float.

Festive colors feast to the eye with 100s of FOG Telugu volunteers walked the parade led by FOG Telugu Chairperson Jo Sharma, President Abhilash, Vice President Anu getting 40 ppl, FOG Telugu Directors Swathi from Lathrop came with 20 ppl, over all 100s of Telugu people representing Telugu culture walked the parade.

FOG Telugu float was sponsored by Vin for Congress (Vinay Kruttiventi), SYNERGY BADMINTON ACADEMY, Super 8 Motel Hayward, M4M (Motive for Murder) Movie team.

FOG Telugu float represented most celebrated festivals like Ganesh Chaturthi, Dasara, Deepavali and sankranthi which shows our unique traditions, values, beliefs, that define our cultural heritage.

Parade walk involves a community gathering where participants walk a specific route to celebrate nation’s independence featuring festive floats, marching bands, vintage cars, dance troops, and spectators lining the streets. The parade was supported by Fremont police department and volunteers to create a memorable experience.
