Arjun Kapoor was in the capital and he spoke about the typical traits that comprise a Delhiwala and a Mumbaiwala.
“My cousins are from Delhi, and they’re energetic and exuberant; and they wear their heart on their sleeve. They’re unabashedly proud of being Punjabi, and are very family driven. I’ve spent all my summer holidays in Delhi. My uncle and my bua live here. I’ve grown up here, done all the normal things, and all the tourist-y things, too. Like that’s what I loved when I saw Ranveer in Band Baajaa Baaraat. He got that – woh Delhi wala laundapan pakda usne. Lekin main hoon Mumbaiwala. Ab kya karoon,” Arjun said.
“But let me tell you,” Arjun adds: “When I’m here with my cousins, I’m a total Delhi boy. I admire the way they are so emotional here, in Delhi. Delhiwalo ko farak nahi padta log kya sochte hain. ‘Hum aisey hi hain’ is their attitude, and that is what I love.”
