SRINAGAR: An organization of non-migrant Kashmiri pandits today lashed out the state and central governments for ignoring them while formulating plans and schemes for rehabilitation of the community.
“The government has been ignoring the non-migrant Kashmiri pandits who have lived in the Valley throughout the period of turmoil,” A K Rajpori, president of the Hindu Welfare Society, said in a statement.
Rajpori accused the government of ignoring the Valley-based Pandits while forming schemes and plans for rehabilitation of the community.
He mentioned the exclusion of non-migrants from the Prime Minister’s job package for Kashmiri Pandit youth.
He said the Society will launch a Satyagrah (indefinite fast) if the government did not pay special attention towards the Kashmiri Pandits living in the Valley.–PTI
